Polished and peppery, this faintly minty Clare shiraz reveals a spicy but deeply fragrant bouquet of cassis, mulberries and blueberries handsomely integrated with fresh cedar/ mocha oak with undertones of vanilla and coconut. Supported by a fine-grained but firmish spine, it's long and smooth, with a seamless expression of palate-staining, almost jujube-like shiraz fruit that soaks up its oak treatment, finishing with a finely balanced acidity. Great value.
