Dense crimson red in colour, the nose shows ripe fruit characters of plum, blackberry, blackcurrant and dark cherry combining liquorice, earthy spices, chocolate and toasty vanillin oak. The palate is plush and mouth filling loaded with all the flavours the nose suggests while the tannins are supportive and will allow this wine to cellar well for at least 8 years if so desired.
