Aromas of black pepper, prosciutto and violets pervade, intermingled with layers of dark chocolate and coffee cream. The palate is fine and elegant yet generously laced with spice from both the oak and the fruit and is complemented by savoury, fine grained tannins of great elegance and soft natural acid finish.
